Kyla Whipple, LCSW, CSAT, EMDR trained
Clinical Director
Kyla graduated from Southeastern University in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and graduated from Florida State University in 2008 with her Master’s degree in Social Work. She has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2010. Her area of specialty is working with partners who have been betrayed by their partner through porn addiction, sex addiction, or infidelity as well as working with partners in destructive relationships, including physical, emotional, or spiritual abuse. She also enjoys coming alongside clients who experience anxiety, have other current or past traumas, or those who are struggling with self-worth. She utilizes EMDR and a Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach.
Kyla has her own history of betrayal trauma. She is a Florida native who, among other things, enjoys time with family and friends, interior design, and all things chocolate!
Her desire for clients who are or have experienced betrayal or a destructive relationship is to restore a sense of safety and trust, rebuild healthy connection with themselves and others and feel empowered to live free from betrayal and harm. For all of her clients, her hope is that they would feel truly known and truly loved by themselves, others, and their Savior.
